Given it is often quoted as the number one cause of death, it does seem odd that ApoB testing isn't routine. After all, if it was the standard then the price would come down pretty quickly you would imagine.

If you live in the USA, you can order your own bloodwork. I usually order from Jason Health or Marek Health w/o the consultation. Both of those are very inexpensive & they both use Quest Diagnostics. If you want LabCorp use ownyourlabs.com

Having spent the last 15 years fighting off doctors and their damn Rx pads, I am very much enjoying your series and I can’t wait to read the next episode.

I recently watched The Cholesterol Code (2026) and found it fascinating also. Highly recommend it to all your readers.

I plan on having a CT Calcium score done in the next few months (finances permitting as it is a self-funded test) and will await the results with nervous anticipation. 🤞

I recently had my Apob tested privately ( it was slightly raised but not high) showed it to my dr who then was still concerned about my LDL number she didn’t seem to understand:-/
